Music is a powerful gift that truly makes the world go round, no matter the language, country or culture. Music was definitely medicine for me. Growing up in a domestic violence environment. Dark poems was my way of escape. I also developed my storytelling style in my youth, being a observant kid, I was able talk about what was going on growing up in the 90s in Hartbeat Ct, dubbed Homicide Hartford (a title Im not proud of). It kept me out of trouble not to mention my daddy who put the fear of God in me. Back then my music wasn't inspiring nor positive as it is now, that transition took place in 2003 (More on that in the next blog). I always wanted to be a rap star my day would be spent watching Rap city Yo MTV raps and BET each and everyday after school until it was time to go to bed. There you have it would love to hear how you fell in love with music as well. Stay tuned for more blogs Coming weekly.
